This definitely speaks to the wounded First Chakra we are all experiencing today.

2009. Good riddance. It was the year of the “shyster.” It was a year where people would do and have done anything for money. It’s all been about money, hasn’t it? Families breaking apart because of money, people compromising themselves and who they are just to get money, people using their mistaken idea of money as power to lord it over others and take advantage of others…it’s been a sickening, desperate year and one that I am gladly done with.

Money is the energy of exchange. We are supposed to learn that NOW. I’m not talking about barter. I’m talking about the energy of money being the energy of exchange. On a planetary level we didn’t do so well with that this year. But learn it we must. If we don’t learn this, if we don’t start getting money in perspective, we aren’t going to be able to get to where we are supposed to get and we’ll cause ourselves more trouble. We will just stay stuck and have more of the same. The universe, everyone else, is waiting for us.

And stubbornly we refuse. We insist on glorifying these pieces of paper, often to the point of no return. What happens with this attitude is that our structures break down, our bonds with other people break down, our connections break down. When we glorify money, we are certainly missing the point.

What in the world would we do if the great cosmic paw came here and said “Enough!!! You have no more money! Figure something else out!” What would you do? Do you know who you are? When you know this, there is no fear and there is a way to receive everything you need.

When we are living in fear of not having enough, we get in our own way. We have the power to create anything we desire. The law of attraction brought us this foundation. But we don’t believe it anymore because it didn't bring us instant money. We don’t know how to make it so. We refuse to see the law of attraction for what it is. It’s a basis.

We don’t live the fact that we have the power to create anything we desire. Right now we’re living the opposite. And so we’re negatively manifesting and creating from our fear. We are effectively creating more and more fear. We insist that money is IT and are willing to die for that belief system. We firmly believe that money is power.

I find this very sad and look forward to what I hope is a new year without further nonsense in this area because as our connections break down, so does our DNA, so do our spirits, so do we on very root chakra levels. Without the root, the plant cannot be fed and therefore cannot survive, let alone flourish.

Here are just a few of the things I’ve encountered this year regarding the delusion of money as power:

• “Sponsor my radio show and I will hook you up with some of the most powerful people in Hollywood.” Translation: “All I really want is money so I can further my own career. And I want it NOW. You will never hear from me again.” (And I know that!)

• “Buy my bogus training program.” Translation: “All I really want is your identity and credit card number so I can cash fraudulent checks.” (And I know that!)

• “Help me change my life. In exchange for your kindness, I will try to have you killed.” Translation: “I have no intention of changing my life. All I really want to do is use any and all resources you’re willing to give me, cast my illnesses upon you and bring you down.” (And I know that!)

• “Print my books, be my publisher, be my agent representative. I have huge things happening and I am a representative of God!” Translation: “Send a car for me. All I really want is for everyone else to pay for everything I do and treat me as a celeb. I am a master manipulator because my back is up against the wall regarding money. I am entitled to money because I’ve had a very hard life. I will do or say anything to get money. I don’t care how much or what it costs you. You have more than enough. It’s all about me and my need for money.” (And I know that!)

• My brother told me that he would “piss on my grave” and hopes that my child flips his car over and dies in a horrible accident. Translation: “I need money and I need it now and I don’t care what I say to you because it’s your fault that I don’t have it. Not only that, but I really don’t care about you at all. Never did. I hope you die because it means more money for me. I’m all about money.” (And I know that!)

• “I’m instigating an international lawsuit for fraud over a $10 shipping charge. I want, need, and deserve free shipping to the UK.” Translation: I have no idea. I owe you nothing. Go threaten someone else.

• “You owe me $275 for half a job I performed 3 years ago and never billed you for. I never billed you because I never finished the job and never answered your email asking about what was happening or not happening. However, I’m now claiming a copyright regardless of how frivolous, as this was clearly “work for hire.” And so I’m going to file a copyright and trademark lawsuit. I’m doing this on Monday morning. It’s Saturday night at midnight.” Translation: “I need a fix and you’re it.”

• “I need money right now, so I will put you on Google maps for $500. I’ll give you a payment plan and hope to God that you never figure out that I am a rip off artist and that getting yourself on Google maps is totally free.” (And I know that!)

2009 was a year where everyone had an opportunity to show their true colors. Some did it better than others. My prediction for 2010 is that it’s going to be a much better year. And I know that.

The first sign of hope on the horizon comes in May 2009, when the planets Jupiter and Neptune conjoin in the sign of Aquarius, thus initiating a new cycle of this planetary pair. A planetary pair operating on a cycle length of 13 years, this planetary relationship has been closing, or in old moon phase, for the last 6 ½ years or so. When it re-starts in May of 2009, another opening cycle will be added to the list of those moving from new to full phase. This will help the balance of conditions to move from dying down to gearing back up. Of course, dying down is necessary in nature, as we know. So all things in their own time must be.

All the same, given that we all must eat, be clothed, live somewhere, and so on, astrological conditions that help survival are of note. Well, here comes one. Jupiter and Neptune will conjoin three times in the year 2009, on these dates.

Parallel Universes and Parallel Dimensions

Parallel universes are whole universes, infinite in number and exactly the same as the one next to them except for one change. Moving across the infinite number of them, of course you can get to any change that you might want.

A dimension is completely different. A dimension is a characteristic of space/time. Something that is one dimensional is a line with one dimension, length, 2 dimensional, a geometric figure with two dimensions, width and height. We normally think of ourselves in moving in 3 dimensional space that is everything we see has 3 dimensions, height, width and depth. Einstein changed this picture by saying that we actually move in 4 dimensional space with the 4th dimension being time.

So moving into another dimension would really be moving into another aspect of this reality, but not seen and felt or sensed in any "normal" sense. We can't put a name on it because we can't sense it. We can only put a name on something what we can sense in some way.

2. Ditch the crummy sweats. Catch the Material Girl in old T-shirts? Never! “She always looks great, wearing the coolest athletic clothes,” Carreno notes. “It must motivate her.”

3. Change it up. “She’s really careful about nt getting bored. One day she’ll go to the gym, the next she’ll be jogging in Central Park,” Carreno says. “I’ve never seen her d the same thing twice in a row.”

4. Find friends who love to work out. They’ll not only encourage you, they’ll join you. Carreno has shot Madonna running with Ingrid Casares; in London, she’s been seen leaving her gym with Gweneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney.

5. Don’t overdo it. Carreno has noticed that the singer never works out for more than 45 minutes. So take heart: An incredible body doesn’t have to be a full-time job- just a regular commitment.

Winter Detoxing and Internal Cleansing for the New Year…

After two months of holidays from October to the New Year…heavy rich foods, and excessive sweets & processed foods overload the body with toxicity, acidity and weight. Doing a winter cleanse to alkalize the body…take off some pounds and bring the system back into balance is just what the body needs to be freed up and move forward into the New Year with a positive attitude and fulfilled resolutions.

Winter takes us deep into hibernation – staying warm, adding a few pounds, and eating heavy stews, hearty casseroles and warming soups. The water element governs kidney- bladder energy. The foods to eat should include salty and bitter flavors which take the heat deeper into the body. These can include vegetable miso soup, cooked greens, burdock root, sea vegetables, barley, whole oats and quinoa. Eating raw, cooling foods weakens the digestion and chills the body. Seasonal winter foods include beets, cabbage, carrots, citrus fruits, daikon radishes, onions, rutabagas, turnips and winter squash.

Many times during a detox “You may feel worse before you feel better”…which is a holistic term called retracing. This is a good sign that your body is responding but overwhelmed with what is being released. To counter “die off” reactions, your body needs fresh vegetable juices and lots of water to help wash out the toxins (See December blog on ORP and Alkaline Ionized water which will dramatically increase your ability to flush out toxins given its antioxidant effect). You want to eat potassium rich foods, because you are losing this important mineral with excessive urination, diarrhea, and perspiration. Potassium brings balance to your cells, clears out excess sodium, and is a great boost for inner cleansing.

Here’s a great recipe for a Potassium Broth which makes about 12 cups.
2 cups celery
2 cups carrot, grated
2 large beets
½ Head of Red Cabbage
2 quarts Alkaline Ionized Antioxidant water
4 red skinned potatoes, chopped
1 bunch parsley
1 bunch cilantro
Pinch of sea salt (or Sun Fire Salt from Radical Health)
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with toasted pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds and a teaspoon of light miso (optional).

Flatley dances again thanks to Irish energy healer

DUBLIN (Reuters) – Irish-American dance master Michael Flatley is back on stage after years of suffering from a "mystery virus," thanks to a treatment by an Irish "energy healer," Irish media quoted Flatley as saying on Wednesday.

Flatley, born in the United States in 1958 of Irish heritage, rose to fame as a member of the "Riverdance" troupe that helped propel Irish dancing into the global spotlight and later opened his own "Lord of the Dance" show.

He was taken to hospital in London in 2006 with a virus that forced him to cancel the European tour of his "Celtic Tiger" show, a dramatisation of Ireland's history.

"Conventional medicine failed to cure me from my mystery virus," Flatley told the Irish Independent newspaper.

"And then, by chance, I met a young man from Ireland called Michael O'Doherty who works on the body's energy," Flatley said.

"When he came to visit me in Ireland, I could barely get out of the chair," he said. "He visited me about 10 times afterwards and, now, I feel really good. Great, in fact. I can dance at speed and I'm close to 100 percent fit again," he added.

According to the clinic's website, the "Plexus System" developed by Michael O'Doherty and Tom Griffin works by "rebalancing the life-force energy within and around the body."

"Einstein concluded that everything is energy and beyond energy is a Supreme Intelligence," the website says. "Within the Plexus System, we have begun to understand the powerful effectiveness of this intelligent life force."

Thanks to the treatment, Flatley has been able to take part in U.S. celebrity dance TV shows and has resumed a strict daily training regime, the Irish Independent said.

Justice starts with compassionate understanding. Only when we can visualize ourselves in someone else’s place can we understand what drives them to behave the way they do. Empathy, compassion, love – these are the Feminine traits that all women and men are born with in varying ratios. When they are used in our interactions with others and with the other species, justice will prevail. Differences in gender, social status and race are not delineators of bad and good. We are all worthy of justice. To combine the energy of orgasm with a conscious empathy for all beings, human and otherwise, would be a powerful boost to the well-being of our planet and species. Visualize true partnership to heal the planet.

Global Warming
The planet needs a rest from all our other desires, so what better way to get us to take a rest from over-consumption than an orgasm? And if we can combine that energy with a resolution to be satisfied with less of everything (except orgasms, of course), perhaps the collective mindset will change. And since a major cause of global warming, peak oil, peak water, peak everything is overpopulation by humans, lets put in a collective request for fewer offspring. Every cute baby is another consumer. Let’s make children even more valued by making fewer of them, before the pressures of overpopulation drive our children to kill each other.

Universal Holiday Greeting

Daniel Pinchbeck writes in the current issue of Whole Life Times, "As we approach the holiday season and the Gregorian New Year, we can give thanks for having been born into this extraordinary, precious time. Our actions over the next few years could have tremendous consequences for humanity’s future on this planet. At such a juncture, the best present we can give to the people around us is our authentic presence--our willingness to listen, learn and remain open to transformation, as the pace of change quickens around us."

My suggestion: focus on the wondrous. In the big picture--on a universal scale--it's all absolutely and sublimely perfect: infinite beauty, love, wonder and possibility. The following are photos taken by the Hubble Space Telescope since its launch (and lens correction) in 1990. "They illustrate that our universe is," as reporter Michael Hanlon of the Daily Mail describes, "not only deeply strange, but also impossibly beautiful."

The Sombrero Galaxy - 28 million light years from Earth - was voted best picture taken by the Hubble telescope. The dimensions of the galaxy, officially called M104, are as spectacular as its appearance. It has 800 billion suns and is 50,000 light years across.

The Ant Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas whose technical name is Mz3, resembles an ant when observed using ground-based telescopes... The nebula lies within our galaxy between 3,000 and 6,000 light years from Earth.

Nebula NGC 2392 is called "Eskimo" because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood. The hood is, in fact, a ring of comet-shaped objects flying away from a dying star. Eskimo is 5,000 light years from Earth.

The Cat's Eye Nebula.

The Hourglass Nebula, 8,000 light years away, has a "pinched-in-the-middle" look because the winds that shape it are weaker at the center.

The Cone Nebula. The part pictured here is 2.5 light years in length (the equivalent of 23 million return trips to the Moon).

The Perfect Storm, a small region in the Swan Nebula, 5,500 light years away, described as 'a bubbly ocean of hydrogen and small amounts of oxygen, sulphur and other elements'.

Starry Night, so named because it reminded astronomers of the Van Gogh painting. It is a halo of light around a star in the Milky Way.

These glowering eyes from 114 million light years away are the swirling cores of two merging galaxies called NGC 2207 and IC 2163 in the distant Canis Major constellation.

The Trifid Nebula. A 'stellar nursery' 9,000 light years from here, where new stars are being born.

My friends, truth is indeed stranger than fiction. The "new paradigm" I described earlier is actually ancient and eternal. We're just awakening to its presence and its truths. We live in a stunning, bizarre and wondrous energy matrix we call The Universe, The Universe has a collective consciousness, and the core of consciousness is infinite and eternal bliss. We all play our part, and we are all a part, as we are all one. The Hopi indians have an ancient and prophetic saying: "We are the ones we've been waiting for."

The Millionaire Mind Conference is in town this weekend starting tomorrow. It is a fabulous place to refresh your mind and spirit and get clear on what you are up to in the world. I have been to a few of them and each time it is a different experience and I meet different people there. I am delighted to connect with thousands of like minded people and introduce them to Chakra Now. My company...Paradise Haven Solutions, LLC concept is to introduce people to the concept of the Chakra System being the software for developing your abundance life. I am continuing to develop business relationships with like-minded people who have business solutions that fit into each chakra category. Having fun now that you're back at home?
We met briefly in the hallway Saturday evening when I was explaining to someone what chakras were.

OK so we're 24 hours home from the seminar and still buzzing. Why didn't the mail man understand when I went to High 5 him? Where's the music when it was time for me take a 12 minute break from working? Why didn't I get further along than doing the declarations in the 90 day workbook? Well, that one I can explain...

While doing the declarations I found my energy fall as I read a few of them even though I read them out loud at a 10. I could feel my inside self slip to an 8 or a 6 from one to another. Being who I am, a master energy healer, I knew that meant I had some congruence issues with certain declarations. I still had some bad roots. So, I sat down and did my little "tweak, tweak, tweak" energy optimizations and... TA DA my inner self transformed immediately to a 10 for those declarations. Woo Hoo! And then, like magic......I got an idea! It's for something I've done successfully before for other things. Would you like to know what I did?

Oh, by the way, when I woke up this morning I noticed something very interesting. Once again I was resonating with my given name, Barbara, more strongly than Mira. Who knew attending a seminar about money would change the way I felt about my name?
